I’ve been photographing almost all of our family outings recently on film. It’s so freeing compared to digital and I’m loving what I capture! Not to mention the colors are gorgeous and the look of film images remind me of photographs from when I was little.
Shooting with film lets me be present in the moment with my family since I only take a handful, 20-36 images, for the day then put down my camera and enjoy the time with Logan and Chris. I see so many moms trying to take 100 photos of their kid during a pick your own trip that I don’t think they picked one thing or ever really looked up from behind their camera or phone!?!? Life is not about capturing that perfect strawberry picking image of your child to post to social media, it’s about picking strawberries right along side of her. I will not live my life through my viewfinder and you shouldn’t either!
PS- I don’t like to eat much fruit, if any! I have never really loved or even liked fruit. But I have to say these strawberries hit the spot and Alstede Farms is a family friendly farm with lots of activities for kids and adults alike! Can you say wine tasting:)
