5 years and 55 more

Five years ago Chris and I said I Do to each other.  It seems like 3 maybe 4, but 5 years!  Where does the time go?  We both took off today to celebrate with some wine, a picnic(in the snow if it hasn’t melted yet), and just driving around the Hudson Valley on this beautiful day.  Taking the time to just stop and enjoy life with each other before another 5 years slips by.  It’s not always easy but most of the time we’re having fun living our life together.

This is us on the Hudson Valley trip when we got engaged about 6 years ago, all taken with my point and shoot Canon Elf.  Notice a few things:

1. Chris and I look really tan- we must have went to the beach more than once that summer
2. My hair is blonder
3. I can’t fit into those jeans anymore
4. Chris still has this shirt which I bought him when I went to Bermuda for my friends wedding
5. We look really young:)
6. We still have those sneakers- I use mine for when I’m painting rooms around the house.
7. We are in America’s oldest winery at Brotherhood.

We are off to relax and enjoy the day, with each other.  I love you Chris:)  Cheers to 55 more years!
