Celebrating

We celebrated 5 years together in a place where it kinda all began.  Six years and 1 month ago Chris proposed to me on a weekend trip to the Hudson Valley Wineries.  SO what better way to celebrate(since we couldn’t afford Tuscany or Napa this year:) than to take a day trip.  Together, no work, no computers, just us.  We actually went to a winery we had never been to before and got to explore and enjoy something new together.  Millbrook Winery is our new favorite up there.  I’m actually surprised we hadn’t been to this one before.  I guess because it’s just a little farther away we hadn’t driven there previously.  It was beautiful, snow and all(most if it had melted but still!) and they do weddings here in case you were interested.  I think a winery wedding would be spectacular.  I wish I had thought of that, but there is always a vow renewal!  Winery or barefoot in the caribbean- I can’t decide?

The Pinot Noir, Merlot and Hunt Country Red were all fantastic reds for this region.
