Chris and I met Gail probably the very first day we moved into our apartment in Hoboken. She lived upstairs from us for 6 years. Over the years she has become a very close friend and is one of the most kind hearted people we have ever met. When her and Kevin met and she first told us about him I knew she found someone special. He is her perfect match. They were both glowing with love, happiness and laughter too as friends and family read quotes out loud to them during the reception. Every single person that spoke had more and more love to shower on them. I think their reception was the most intimate and personal one I have ever been to. As one of the guests quoted from the Beatles: “All you need is love, love, love is all you need.”
Gail & Kevin it was truly an honor to document your love for each other on this very special day. Enjoy your honeymoon in Ireland and have a Guinness(or 2) for me and about 8 for Chris! We secretly wish we could tag along on your honeymoon but we will let you celebrate together. Maybe next time we can all travel there together:)
The Oyster Point has amazing patterned chairs in all the rooms. So you know the Surface Pattern Design major in me was in heaven!!
She wore a charm bracelet that had all different charms meaningful to her and Kevin. This one of the London Bridge is where Kevin proposed:
They choose to see each other before the ceremony and I just love their reactions to their first look:
Gail and Kevin set up a scavenger hunt for the kids. They had to go around and play I Spy and take photos of different things that were on a list. They had a blast trying to find all the different items needed and it was such a great idea!
During the reception everyone around the room shared a poem, quote, music lyric or personal anecdote to be read aloud to the couple. It was such a meaningful a personal touch to their reception.
Here are all the nephews including the little guy yet to be born. I just love this photo with all the different expressions on the kids:)
Gail and Kevin chose not to have a bridal party and instead during their toast stated that everyone in the room was a best man or maid of honor to them- how sweet.
