Finally we’re in(well mostly)

So I have been off-line for about 8 days now.  Very hard for me but yesterday I finally set up my computer in the basement!  It’s a no frills workstation until my very OWN office is set up in the 3rd bedroom:)  Cannot wait!  The reason for all this waiting is that first the floor guy could not re-finish all the rooms before we moved so we decided to have the rooms done that have the most furniture. Then it snowed 24 inches at the house the day we were going to move, the movers canceled and we couldn’t get anyone to plow our VERY long driveway.  So we shoveled out of Hoboken and then into our new house.  Thought the movers were going to reschedule over the weekend but of course since it was the 1st of the month they were booked and couldn’t fit us in until Monday 9am- had to take another day off.  A couple good things about the delay is that we got to do a real good cleaning over the weekend and the floors had more time to cure.  Anyway I have been totally wiped out with the move, and then working all week, I haven’t even had 5  minutes to set up the computer until yesterday.  So today the floor guy has come back and sanded all the remaining rooms!  Yay- only a little more waiting for us until we can feel like we actually live in the house!  I do want to paint the living room (hopefully) this weekend so we can really get unpacked in there.  It will be much easier to paint with nothing in the room getting in the way.  I need to paint every square inch of the house- this will be a long project.  Just wait for the before and after photos to come- you will not believe it!  Just having the floors re-done make the house look so much better.  Stay tuned:)  Once I find my camera’s computer cord I will actually post some photos here!  Ha- I know it’s in a box around here somewhere…….
