I’m going to start writing a blog series called Meridith Mondays with the hopes that I can keep it up and let you have a peak into my life and what I’ve been doing over the past week. I feel that writing is not my strong point so with that it’s hard for me to write personal stuff for this blog. I stare at the blank screen for like 5 seconds, then open up facebook and check out what everyone else is doing over there. Four hours goes by filled with lots of other things and I never get back to writing that post. Procrastination is going to be kicked to the curb. This will also force me out of my comfort zone which everyone needs once in a while!
Over the past week I:
- ate 3 chocolate bunnies that we got from our parents on Easter.
- didn’t exercise at all after eating said bunnies, but I am counting running after 5 kids during 4 photo sessions as exercise. Hey it’s a workout!
- painted the window over the kitchen sink, cleaned the screens, got them fixed and then installed them. Finally a nice breeze when doing dishes that only took 2 years and 1 month to do!
- ate the first dinner of the season outside in the backyard with our friend Shanna
- became slightly addicted to Instagram now that it’s out for Android- whoot! Follow me @meridithdesmond it’s fun
- helped Chris hang up the bat house he got for Christmas on a tree in our backyard
- visited my mom 3 times in the hospital after her leg surgery. She finally went home Saturday!
- decided to start a monthly money journal in May for Chris and I to document what we spend our dollars on – Chris is going to love this one:) not really but we need to do this
- made the first batch of pesto for the summer, can’t wait to eat it tonight
Enjoy your week everyone!
