Suzanne and Justin have been waiting quite a while for a little one of their own so I was very excited to photograph their baby shower for them! Suzanne has to be the sweetest and most caring person I have had the pleasure of meeting. Surrounded by family and friends Suzanne (and the baby on the way) were showered with love and affection. The caterpillar book theme fit Suzanne perfectly with her love of reading and writing. I would have never thought of this theme but it was such a fun one with all the hand made details and things to photograph!
Suzanne, I was so honored to document this shower for you. The love that was in the room that day was overwhelming for you, Justin and the baby. I know you and Justin will be amazing parents to your little boy or girl! I can’t wait to hear what you have, I love surprises. 🙂 Enjoy!
I’m super excited to have their images posted on the Indie Tot Blog! Click here to read the full feature.
A few portraits of mom and dad before the festivities:
Suzanne is gorgeous!
All the centerpieces were had made by Suzanne’s sister, aren’t they amazing! AND these books were rescued off the street in the rain to be recycled into these clever works of art.
Family and friends designed their own onesie for the baby- LOVE this idea!
All of the guests wrote out wishes on these origami birds which the girls made. The wishes were then placed into mason jars for Mom and Dad to read later. Such a great idea!
Lots of babies at the party!
Guests were playing baby bingo as Suzanne opened up the gifts. I think the kids had a lot of fun with the game!
The pens and notebook covers were hand made and given out as favors to each guest.
Laughter and tears of joy- a perfect ending to their day!
