Over the past week I:
- Bought a pair of emerald green cords from the gap for $10.48 – can’t beat that. Not to mention that emerald green is the pantone color of the year for 2013. I hope to get a lot of use out of them!
- Took my sister out to dinner at the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn for her belated birthday present. We had a fantastic time eating their delicious food, I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner, an party or intimate wedding!
- Had a wedding consult at a wine bar, it’s one of the perks to the job:)
- Made Tomato Soup for my women’s club soup lunch. We had a very nice afternoon tasting all different kinds of soups, salads and appetizers all while making new friends.
- Finally picked a wall color for our bedroom!! Benjamin Moore color Winter Solstice. Grey’s are hard to pick. I am now waiting for a coupon for $5 off to come in the mail, we get them every week or so but with my luck we won’t get one for a month!
- Waited for the winter storm Nemo to hit us. We got about 12 inches, not as much as some people in the North East. I got my workout in by shoveling our walks and cars out, Chris used the snow blower on the rest of the driveway.
- Updated my proofing site to match my blog and new website colors.
- Almost finalized my website, I have to send it out for spell checking and some final feedback. Let’s face it, I am not a spelling bee winner. 😉
- Watched 500 Days of Summer and The first Sex and The City movie, both were pretty good, however I still don’t like Big. Never have, never will. 500 Days of Summer was cute and funny, even Chris liked it!
- Watched most of the Grammys – up until The Lumineers played. Loved there performance, also Mumford and Sons were excellent and the Bob Marley Tribute was pretty cool too. I think the Grammys should be divided into performers and musicians – you know people who play instruments and then people who just sing and . It is just me?
Since it’s raining today I have some photos of our house from winter storm Nemo to share. I hope everyone out there made out OK with the snow. Enjoy!
