My dad is having heart surgery today, so please think good thoughts for us all!! While I am sitting around yet another hospital waiting room I’m typing away on my sisters laptop getting some work done.
Over the past 2 weeks I:
- Got addicted to Breaking Bad. It’s a really interesting story line and one that keeps you wanting to see what happens next.
- Photographed a wedding out among the fields of Pennsylvania.
- Cut off all the dead Hydrangeas from last year so new ones can make there way into bloom. I’m thinking of purchasing some for the other side of our driveway, so it’s lined on both sides. I think it will look lovely. Ahhh spring I am so glad you are here.
- Made a weeks worth of “clean food recipes” from the January issue of Whole Living- which sadly is no longer in publication. Chris thinks he lost 5 pounds!
- Photographed a very fun loving and expressive family at the Princeton University campus- it was gorgeous with all the flowering trees in bloom! I can’t wait to share on the blog later this week.
- Showed Maureen and Kevin their wedding proofs while enjoying a beer or 2 and some home made corn muffins! Yum and thanks again!
- Had dinner with my long time friend Claire- whom I don’t see as often as I like. We have to fix that. She’s the person who introduced Chris and I so we will always be in her debt;)
- Purchased 3 things at the Martha Stewart tag/sample sale at work. I got all 3 for $3- can’t beat that!
- Got to take some some eggs from Martha’s farm- nothing like farm fresh eggs!
- Had my last day at Martha Stewart, which is perfect timing with my dad needing recovery time and my photography business picking up with the warmer weather(although this morning I was wearing gloves:/) It was a wonderful experience and my first foray into home textiles which I really enjoyed designing- maybe because I love decorating and interior design. At any rate it was fun and that’s what matters, right?
