This is such a special wedding to me that I have been having been struggling to come up with the words to describe their day. I tell a much better story through my photographs, the words don’t come as easily, they never have. I know Jeff is the perfect companion for Kate and I also know she has waited, not so patiently, for him to come into her life:) To watch your friend say I do and capture these memories for her and her new husband is no easy task but such a fulfilling one. I wanted everything to be perfect for her and Jeff, and it was- the day, the weather, the timeline(we had enough time for all the photos needed), the party and all the love that surrounded them on their beautiful day.
Kate and Jeff as you start on this new part of your lives together I hope you look back on all these images and remember how much you loved each other on your wedding day and I can’t wait to watch that love grow stonger between you both over the next 50 something years. In Jeff’s words, “It’s your story now!” Congrats again to you both it was an honor to document your love.
Jimmy Choo’s are a glittery way to start the day!
The bridal and bridesmaids bouquets were stunning and so unique with air plants and a mix of orange and purple flowers- just gorgeous with the orange dresses!
Terri, my second shooter, captured this tearful moment during the ceremony:
I think they are excited to be husband and wife, what do you think?
Kate’s beautiful and unique feather Pronovias wedding gown was absolutely perfect on her, and she looked gorgeous in it all night long. I LOVE the image on the left below- one of my favorites from their day!
Jeff wore a kilt knit in his family plaid and he was looking more dapper than ever.
Turquoise and orange – my favorite color combo! That’s why we’re friends;) Right Kate?
Kate’s parents home was gorgeously landscaped and decorated for a festive cocktail wedding reception under the stars. It couldn’t have been a more perfect evening that night!
Kate + Jeff had a wonderful cocktail list for the guests to sample of which I tried the Pickle Martini at the end of the evening and it was delish!
Their first dance was to the Lumineers Hey Ho and the whole crowd was clapping and singing along!
I little private moment under the twinkle lights becuase well you have to have a portrait as a bride and groom under the twinkle lights:)
Kate, Jeff and all their guests were dancing up a storm late into the evening. Congrats again to you both and I’m wishing you much love and happiness!
