Alison + Joe – Engaged

Alison and Joe are my third couple from this year who met at Villanova.  A lot of big east basketball rivalry between my clients and I!  Go CUSE!

I met Alison at my good friends Nicole and Keith’s wedding, she is Keith’s sister.  I photographed Keith’s family a number of times now, most recently here.  Alison and Joe got engaged over the summer on a relaxing trip together in the Caribbean and I couldn’t think of a more perfect proposal story for them.  They asked me to capture their engagement photos in Hoboken which is where they now live(and they live about 2 blocks from our old apartment- yay for uptown Hoboken:)  Congratulations to you both on your engagement and up coming wedding in LBI next fall.  I think they love the beach- and we kinda incorporated it into their engagement session with a few Adirondack beach chairs!  I was in love with this new location that I had never seen before so much so I may want some photos of Chris and I there.  Enjoy!

One of my favorites of the day.  They wanted to have a “typical” Hoboken brownstone image and I think we captured it.  A little side note: the owners of this particular brownstone came home as we were getting this image and it was a little awkward exchange but we were just using their steps- no harm done:):

Adirondack chairs AND the NYC skyline- I was in heaven- Love all of these and I couldn’t pick a favorite!!
