Ava James Baptism at Zoodohos Peghe Greek Orthodox Church

We had a gorgeous day for little Ava James baptism this past Sunday!  Friends and family gathered to celebrate and welcome her into the Greek Orthodox church.

There was no shortage of love in the church and reception room- every time I turned around someone else was holding Ava and cuddling her.  How can you not- she is just a doll!  I don’t think I could have taken one bad photo of her – she was so happy the entire day!

I’m always amazed at Greek Baptisms where they get fully dunked and thrown up into the air – what a way to enter the church!  Ava cried a bit but mostly enjoyed the ride.

The Shenorock Shore Club in Rye NY is just a stunning venue with the perfect backdrop for family photos!  Jaclyn did an AMAZING job with all the details and decorations that perfectly coordinated right down to the napkins and favors!  The elegant purple and blush color palette complimented the airy reception room.

Sisters have a special bond – so sweet 🙂

There was this fantastic magician that kept all the kids entertained with silly antics, a white rabbit and lots of belly laughs!  He was the hit of the afternoon for these kiddos.

Sweet little Ava even got to taste the cake-the perfect ending to a beautiful day!
