OK my last post on our Argentina vacation even though I have a ton more photos. I wished we had stayed in Mendoza for 1 or 2 more days but we had already booked the flight and hotel to return to Buenos Aires so off we went. We ended up venturing back to La Boca and visiting La Caminito- this vivid and colorful section of town were they have street dancers and everything from magnets to t-shirts for tourists. Defiantly the most tourist-y place we went so we didn’t stay very long but I got some of the best photos from the trip. The people who live here used the left over paint from all the ships that have docked across the street to paint the houses in different colors. It reminded me of the Caribbean.
We did some more walking of Buenos Aires before heading out to a Tango Show Friday evening.
The Tango show was really amazing! I do not know how the dancers can move that fast and not trip over their partner. The musicians were really great as well, I have about O% musical talent so these guys really blew me away. I mean how many people can blow a conch shell and actually make music? I didn’t use a flash here, even though people in the audience were, I think these portray the mood of the evening.
