Emily grew up on Long Island while Andrew grew up in Pennsylvania. Lehigh University brought them together and they’ve chosen to make New York City their home. When it came time to plan their wedding they wanted to keep it close to home. St. Paul’s Chapel at Columbia was a quaint yet beautiful chapel to recite their wedding vows while The Harold Pratt House is an elegant hidden gem among the East Side of Manhattan to host their reception.
From getting ready through their last dance Emily and Andrew had a celebration to remember complete with lots of laughs, some tears, a few glasses of bubbly and a broke down bus on the side of the LIE(Don’t worry she made it to the church on time)! You will both have a wonderful wedding day story to tell your children and grandchildren someday and I am honored to have documented this special day for you and your families, congratulations again and enjoy!
The girls all wore navy blue which is timeless and the color looks amazing on all skin tones!
You make a stunning bride Emily!
Like father, like daughter! Both had a few nerves right before walking down the aisle:
Her cathedral veil was borrowed from her sister who wore it on her wedding day. There was just enough wind that day to blow her veil for some dreamy photos! Andrew’s Father also sang during their ceremony- such a wonderful addition to their wedding day.
Oh we’re just standing on the corner in NYC in a tux and wedding gown- we got one with a cab Emily!!
All of the speeches had guests laughing so hard they started to cry!
A classic B&W bridal portrait to end this post with- simply gorgeous!
