I started a new blog series this year titled “What goes into your session?” which is geared towards my family and portrait clients but is still useful to wedding clients as well! Before reading this last post, if you missed Parts 1 & 2 please click below to read them both:
Part 1: Why custom photography?
Part 2: What to expect during your Photo Session
After your photo session I will post 1 or 2 sneak peak images on my blog & facebook that very next week. It’s exciting to see these images and I know you have been waiting patiently(or not so patiently)! Within 4 weeks of your session we will meet up for your ordering session either at your home or in my home studio. I will preset your proofs to you which are yours to keep. We will divide the proofs up, make piles and pick out your absolute favorites that you would like to use to create wall art for your home.
My proofs are all color corrected for white balance, tone and color. They are the best images from your session or wedding. Any blemishes, bruises or scratches will be edited out on those images you choose to place on order and the ones I am posting up on my blog or website. You will see all your proofs in color and a few in B&W also.
Then the real fun begins! OK the session was the most fun part, but this is a close second. 🙂 We get to choose how you want to display your images. I LOVE this part!! Anything to do with decorating and Interior Design is a fun time in my book. I have even started a Pinterest Board to collect ideas on photo displays and share with my clients.
In my own home almost every wall is taken up by photo and artwork displays and we don’t even have kids yet! You can ask me anything about your images and we will discuss how they will look amazing up on your walls or displayed in a custom album. Which image/s work best in canvas prints. Which images will be great for a custom storyboard collage. After all the reason you invested in custom photography in the first place was to display and enjoy these memories and moments so you can see them every day and remember exactly how you felt at that time surrounded by the ones you love.
