OK so I know it’s Thursday and I am just getting this up to the blog now but man have I been busy! We went to 3 BBQ’s and saw lots of friends 4th of July weekend. Friends that we haven’t seen in a long time and it was so much fun. Fun to get away and just relax. Not worry about house stuff or how much we can get done in 1 weekend.
Then I had a 3 day workweek this week that I still had to fit 5 days of work into and another 3 day weekend starting now! Yay for me:) After a 2 hour and 10 minute commute tonight (do to another one of NJ transit issues that we are paying 25% more every month to have the pleasure of experiencing)- I am finally able to get this post out there. So BBQ #1 was a sleepover(actually the 3rd one was too- ha!) We had a great time catching up with Chris’ college friends all of whom we hadn’t seen in over a year! Time flies and we hope to not go that long again without seeing each other- good thing we have a wedding coming up in August:) Catching up, fun times, 2 new babies born 1 day apart, 1 new engaged couple, burgers, beer + fireworks= a fun night. Oh plus I was drooling over their new Mac- I want one! Scratch that- I need one.
I really like this one because it is so Chris.
This is Lily and she is so cute and looks exactly like her mom! I still remember the year she was born her parents sent us a photo of her in a pumpkin:) Now she is a big sis but still daddy’s little girl.
Fireworks in the backyard!
Chris’ soon to be new facebook photo- love it! What is it with guys and fire??? I don’t think I will ever know.
BBQ#2 was over at Kimberly and Mike’s before the fireworks to hang out with friends, celebrate a first birthday, eats lots of food and take lots of photos of babies- I’m still editing those ones:) BBQ #3 was seeing the Macy’s fireworks from my sister’s roof deck- how awesome!
Marissa manning the grill
Beautiful sunset and great views from the roof.
And I’m still trying to figure out where to hang my cafe lights! I love these lights-they look so European to me. Any ideas where I can put mine?
This next one was taken at about midnight and the moon was just rising over the city! Because I didn’t bring my zoom lens the fireworks photos didn’t turn out at good as last years:( So scroll down the previous post.
And we’re off to another 3 day weekend celebrating my moms birthday! Can’t wait to spend time with family.
