Larissa and Doug were married in a traditional Russian Orthodox wedding ceremony in the beautiful golden interior of St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell NJ. The cathedral truly is a work of art. They had the perfect blend of traditional and non-traditional elements and details which makes their wedding unique and perfectly suited to them! I loved the little pops of color in the bouquets and plaid bow ties for the guys, not to mention Larissa’s blue shoes:) Larissa and Doug, it was an honor to document your love for each other and I am wishing you many years of happiness together!

The Russian Orthodox Ceremony was rich in style, color and symbolism, with so many meaningful traditions. Larissa grew up going to this church and it was just gorgeous inside!

The entire bridal party headed over to Pier Village in Long Branch for some photos on the beach and boardwalk. We had perfectly blue skies to compliment the girls navy summer dresses, pink peony bouquets and the guys grey suits. Grey suits are my new favorite for the groomsmen- I think every guys looks good in a grey suit!

All I can think of when looking at this next image is the song, Under the Boardwalk. Which reminds me of summertime:) I do also LOVE the graphic lines of the posts.

Larissa’s mother offered the newlyweds bread and salt as a symbol of health, prosperity and long life.

Their parents look on as they newlyweds dance their first dance.

The Channel Club in Monmouth Beach has such a gorgeous marina that we used as the background for some sunset photos. I stole them out of the reception and I so think it was worth it for these images we captured below:

I think it was one of the most gorgeous sunsets I have ever had on a wedding day!
