Over the past week I:
- Had a mentor session with a photographer whose work I just love, we talked shop all day long plus I got to see how she shoots families. My mind is overflowing with ideas of things I want to do with my business over the next few months and some changes I want to make. Time to write all these ideas, thoughts and goals down on paper.
- Saw one of the best sunrises over the city I have ever seen- I guess because I’m not usually up that early! haha
- Had a glass of wine(or 2!) and went over all the images from Laura and Nick’s wedding with them. I am so excited that they will be getting a wedding album! Can’t wait to share the final product with you guys.
- Drove to NYC for a photo session with this little guy who is now 14 months! His eyes are as big and blue as ever. We had fun walking in the park and playing together.
- Attended PDN Photo Plus in NYC, which was kind of a let down since 5 of the photo companies I wanted to see, talk to and view products from didn’t attend this year.
- Photographed Jen and her husband for their 11 year anniversary! We walked all over the meatpacking district and up onto the highline. Can’t wait to share pics! We even toasted to each others anniversaries with a beer after.
- Had dinner with some friends from LI and Hoboken in the West Village at Burrito Loco, which was actually quite good! Originally we were going to get tapas but the place we wanted to go to could only seat like 5 people at a time it was so small. Our party of 6 would have taken up the whole place!
- Prepped the yard for Hurricane Sandy- cleared the garage for the car, put away all the yard stuff and bought lots of beer to drink. Oh and we got eggs too- we have to eat as well:)
- Worked, worked, worked as much as I could Sunday(even though it was our anniversary) for fear of loosing power and not getting stuff done!
- Had a tasty steak dinner to celebrate our 6 year anniversary Sunday night, thanks to Paul, Kathy and Madison who bought us lots of steaks from Omaha Steaks. YUM!
