My dad is recovering from heart surgery and I’m at my parents taking care of him and my mom since neither one of them can drive. SO far they are good patients and there hasn’t been too much yelling:)

Over the past week I:
- Had a celebratory drink when my father made it out of surgery on Monday!
- Read/looked at the special edition of Domino cover to cover. I LOVED this magazine- probably my favorite ever. I am waiting for them to bring it back to life;)
- Brought my Dad mint chocolate chip ice cream for his birthday while he was in the hospital – it made his day!
- Drove my Dad home from NYU hospital 4 days after his surgery- crazy how quickly they release you to go home
- Raked leaves and picked up sticks all over my parents yard
- Shopped at Delicious Orchards – my favorite place to get fresh fruits and vegetables when I’m down near my parents house.
- Watched Water for Elephants and Django Unchained – I can’t believe my mom choose the 2nd movie to watch with us. She kept shutting her eyes during the bloody parts- LOL!
- Photographed a cute girl and her family at Thompson Park – she has made 2 appearances on the blog already and is as cute as ever! A sneak peek coming up tomorrow.
