Chris and I try our best to take off on Mondays(since we both work weekends) and spend time with each other and our families. It’s very hard to separate work from home when you have a home office or your phone is blinking at 10pm with a new email message. So we take off. No work. Just us and some hopefully fun thing to do:) This past Monday we went apple and pumpkin picking with Chris’ dad, his wife and Madison. I think it was a success despite there not being too many apples actually on the trees! None the less we had a fun time. I brought my camera along for the day and documented some of our afternoon.
Next up carving that pumpkin! I think it’s a bit too early yet. I did buy Halloween candy since it was on sale, the big 75 piece bag at the A&P. I think maybe 32 pieces are left. Not a smart idea to buy the candy over a month early. Yum! But who can resist Kit-Kats and Reeces Peanut Butter Cups?
Chris had to pull the cart:)
Thanks to Kathy for this one of us. I really liked these stacked pallets.
There were like NO apples on these trees- we found a few really high up or so far in that you could hardly reach them.
The only thing is that these pumpkins do not really grow in this field, I was a little disappointed. They are just put there on the grass. I want a real field with the vines!
