Shannon + Tim – NYC Engagement Session on Film

It was a hot and humid evening on the Upper West Side for their engagement session.  I was sweating all over the place but they remained relaxed and chill which is just what I like about all of the couples that book me as their wedding photographer.  We walked through Central Park a bit and then headed over to Riverside Park for some gorgeous images in the golden light.

Engagement sessions are the perfect opportunity to get to know your photographer(and them you!), get your fears of being in front of the camera out of the way before the wedding day plus capture your love for each other in a setting that is very special and meaningful to you both.  

In their case Shannon really wanted to have photos of them on the Upper West Side because it’s where they met, dated and now live plus their wedding will be down at Spring Lake Bath and Tennis Club so all of their wedding photos will be down at the shore and on the beach with no logistical way to have any wedding photos taken in New York City.   Shannon and Tim, I enjoyed our time together!  Thank you for the glass champagne to cool off and I am looking forward to your wedding in June!
