I actually got out of sweatpants and put on some go out into the world and look nice clothes yesterday so I thought it would be a good idea to take a few photos of my now growing baby bump. I also got my hair done Friday so I’m feeling presentable! Since I work from home most days I fall into this trap of not really wearing anything nice around the house, not to mention it’s been cold out so I’m always wearing a big warm sweater with leggings or sweatpants to stay warm and comfortable. I had a hard time finding maternity pants that I liked- the short elastic band felt too tight, the full elastic band felt like too much. I still can’t really decide and I have a couple options and I just wear what feels good at the time. I also got the BeBand which I haven’t tried yet. These jeans I’m wearing in the photo below are Gap maternity with the short elastic and they are OK to wear for a couple hours at a time, but too long and they really start to annoy me, become too tight and I just want to get out of them as soon as possible.
Anyway enough with maternity pants:) I’ve been feeling really great so far, just going to bed earlier than I usually do, which is really early since I thought I already went to bed at a fairly early time before I became pregnant. Other than that I have not been having any strange cravings or weird symptoms, I’m just hungry more often. I have been trying not to eat too much chocolate during the afternoon and attempting to go on a walk with the dog a few times a week- this cold weather isn’t helping one bit! I’ve also been painting some rooms in our house- you can see the color of the nursery below and I’ve also painted the half bath and I’m in the process of touch up painting around the window that broke during the hurricane that was finally fixed in December. SO I’ve been keeping a little bit active every day and I want to keep it up. I will be posting a few more pregnancy photos over the next 3 months until the little guy or girl arrives in May. We are also planning to go register this week, I’m not sure if it will be fun or a nightmare? There are so many things that “they” tell you the baby needs and I truly feel that they hardly need any of it except food and love- OK and diapers:) Not to mention our house is quite small and I can’t imagine where we will put all this stuff? We may have the smallest baby registry out there! Chris is very excited to use the scanning gun, haha. I will post an update on how we do with the registry soon- if you have any tips on what to get or what not to get leave them in the comments! I need help with this stuff:) Have a good week everyone, stay warm!
